The Web for Industrial Information of Cuba represents an attempt to integrate Cuban industry in order to provide improved access to information as it relates to new technologies. This effort is being executed as a project of the Cuban government, and coordinated by the consulting firm of DISAIC with the collaboration of the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development. The site includes links to directories, general information, commercial opportunities, news, events, and frequently asked questions. In addition, it contains links to many of the companies involved. Website established by the US-Cuba Trade & Economic Council, Inc., a non-profit trade organization whose purpose is to provide an educational structure in which the the United States business community may access information on issues regarding United States-Cuba commercial, economic, and political relations. The site has links to general information Cuba, realities of the Cuban market, and commercial highlights for 1998 to present, travel, licensing and legal information, an events schedule, and a mailing list.
